It is the highest curling audience ever recorded on TSN and is almost double the audience for the Men’s Olympic Winter Games qualifier final in 2005 (693,000).*

Toronto, ON (December 4, 2009) – With the right to represent Canada at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games on the line, the cream of Canada’s curling crop heads to Edmonton this weekend to compete in the TIM HORTONS ROAR OF THE RINGS. TSN has exclusive live coverage of every Men’s and Women’s draw beginning with Draw #1 on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. ET on TSN (see broadcast details below).
The TIM HORTONS ROAR OF THE RINGS uses a round-robin format followed by a playoff round. The three-year qualification process that began with the 2006 season has left the eight best Men’s and Women’s teams in the country one step away from representing Canada at the upcoming 2010 Winter Games.
