It’s a Free Agent Free-For-All on July 1 with FREE AGENT FRENZY, Live on TSN2 and TSN.ca

Toronto, ON (June 28, 2010) – Canada Day means free agent fireworks on TSN2 as the network marks the start of the NHL’s free agency period with the fourth annual FREE AGENT FRENZY special. Coverage on TSN2 airs from 12 noon to 5 p.m. ET on July 1 and continues on TSN from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET. The entire FREE AGENT FRENZY special will also be available live at TSN.ca.

TSN2 to broadcast NFL Games Giving Fans More Live NFL Coverage than Ever Before

Toronto, ON (May 27, 2010) – TSN2 confirmed today another marquee sports property will join the network this year. Beginning in the 2010 season, TSN2 will have live national coverage of one NFL early afternoon game (1 p.m. ET) each Sunday throughout the regular season.

ROGERS SPORTSNET, TSN2 AND SETANTA CANADA COME TO TERMS ON THE 2010-2011 BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON

TORONTO, ON (May 19, 2010) – Rogers Sportsnet, TSN2 and Setanta Canada have come to terms on a multi-year agreement that will give the three networks Canadian broadcast rights to exclusive England’s Barclays Premier League (BPL) matches over the next three seasons.

TSN2 Adds SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL to its Live Sports Lineup

Toronto, ON (May 13, 2010) – In the first of a series of major acquisitions for TSN2 to be announced over the next week, the network announced today the addition of ESPN’s SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL broadcasts to its lineup of exclusive live sports coverage. The weekly marquee Major League Baseball match-up will air every Sunday night on TSN2 through to the end of the 2013 season. TSN2’s first SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL broadcast airs this Sunday (May 16) at 8 p.m. ET featuring Philadelphia @ Milwaukee.

Canadian National Hockey Championships on TSN and TSN2

 Toronto, ON (April 21, 2010) – The Cups runneth-over on TSN and TSN2 in the coming weeks as four different Hockey Canada championships will be decided in the span of just 16 days.  The championship games for Canada’s national men’s and women’s midget hockey, senior men’s AAA hockey and men’s Junior A hockey will air on TSN and TSN2 between April 24 and May 9.  Coverage gets underway with the National Female Midget Championship, the ESSO CUP, on Saturday, April 24 at 6 p.m. ET live on TSN2.
