Toronto, ON (November 6, 2009) – TSN is proud to recognize the inspiring efforts and accomplishments of Special Olympics athletes, coaches and volunteers from across Canada with the ninth annual SPECIAL OLYMPICS DAY, airing live on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. ET in support of Special Olympics Canada. This year marks the 40th year of Special Olympics in Canada.
The hour-long TSN-produced SPECIAL OLYMPICS DAY is hosted by Vic Rauter and Jennifer Hedger. The broadcast celebrates the inspirational achievements of Special Olympics athletes and their coaches as well as contributors, supporters and the numerous Special Olympics volunteers from across the country.
