It’s a Free Agent Free-For-All on July 1 with FREE AGENT FRENZY, Live on TSN2 and TSN.ca

Toronto, ON (June 28, 2010) – Canada Day means free agent fireworks on TSN2 as the network marks the start of the NHL’s free agency period with the fourth annual FREE AGENT FRENZY special. Coverage on TSN2 airs from 12 noon to 5 p.m. ET on July 1 and continues on TSN from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET. The entire FREE AGENT FRENZY special will also be available live at TSN.ca.

NHL Playoffs on TSN Conference Semifinal Coverage Features Boston vs. Philadelphia and San Jose vs. Detroit Series

Toronto, ON (April 28, 2010) – TSN will have live coverage of both the Boston-Philadelphia series and the San Jose-Detroit series as the network today announced its complete broadcast schedule for the Second Round of the 2010 STANLEY CUP® PLAYOFFS All games on TSN are available in High Definition and on-demand at TSN.ca.

TSN’s coverage of the 2010 STANLEY CUP® PLAYOFFS continues tomorrow (Thursday, April 29) with Game 1: Detroit @ San Jose at 8:30 p.m. ET. TSN’s coverage of the Boston-Philadelphia series begins on Saturday, May 1 at 12 noon ET (see complete broadcast schedule below).

TSN’s Gord Miller and Pierre McGuire will be in the broadcast booth for the Boston-Philadelphia series while Chris Cuthbert and Ray Ferraro call the San Jose-Detroit series. NHL on TSN host James Duthie will once again be joined in studio for pre-games and intermissions by Hockey Insiders Bob McKenzie and Darren Dreger along with analyst Darren Pang.

Largest Audience Ever Watches Edmonton Oilers Win LG NHL DRAFT LOTTERY on TSN

Toronto, ON (April 14, 2010) – The Edmonton Oilers weren’t the only big winners last night, as the LG NHL DRAFT LOTTERY awarded record audience numbers to TSN.  Preliminary overnight data from BBM Canada confirms the average audience for the 30-minute original TSN production was 556,000, making it the most-watched NHL draft lottery ever*.  Yesterday’s audience marked an 87% increase over last year’s NHL draft lottery on TSN.
