Toronto, ON (June 9, 2010) –TSN confirmed today that Olympic Games silver medallist and fan favourite Cheryl Bernard has been named to the TSN CURLING SKINS GAME and will take on her Vancouver 2010 Team Canada teammate and Olympic gold medallist Kevin Martin in the first round of the event. World Champion Kevin Koe has also been confirmed for the TSN CURLING SKINS GAME and will face British Olympian and defending Skins champion David Murdoch to round out the star-studded first round matches.

Programming Note: Ford World Women’s Curling Championship

If Team Canada is relegated to the Bronze Medal Final at the Ford World Women’s Curling Championship, that game will be added to the TSN2 schedule live at 12 noon ET on Sunday, March 28

The Gold Medal Final will air live on TSN at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 28.

Largest Audience Ever Watches Alberta’s Kevin Koe Win the 2010 TIM HORTONS BRIER on TSN

– A record 1.6 million viewers tune into TSN for Sunday’s Ontario/Alberta Final –

– Audience levels peaked at 2.5 million viewers in the final minutes of the 10th end, leading up to the decisive extra end – 

Toronto, ON (March 15, 2010) – While Kevin Koe’s Team Alberta swept away the competition last night, TSN swept up a new audience record as the Final of the 2010 TIM HORTONS BRIER became the most-watched broadcast in tournament history*.  Preliminary overnight data from BBM Canada confirms an average audience of 1.6 million viewers watched Koe win his first BRIER championship against Glenn Howard’s previously undefeated Team Ontario in an exciting extra-end finish.   Read more…

Gold Medallist Kevin Martin Confirmed for TSN CURLING SKINS GAME

– The popular annual Curling Skins game will take place on Jan. 22-23, 2011 at Casino Rama –

– World Champion David Murdoch of Scotland returns to defend his TSN Skins title -

Toronto, ON (March 14, 2010) – TSN confirmed today that Olympic Gold Medallist Kevin Martin will attend the fan-favourite TSN Curling Skins Game in January.  Martin joins defending Skins champion David Murdoch of Scotland at the event which is confirmed to take place on the weekend of January 22 and 23, 2011 at Casino Rama, in Rama Ontario.
