CIS Football Playoff Doubleheader this Saturday on TSN Featuring the MITCHELL BOWL and the UTECK BOWL

– UTECK BOWL featuring Calgary @ Saint Mary’s airs Saturday at 4 p.m. ET –
– VANIER CUP airs live on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 12 noon ET –

Toronto, ON (November 18, 2009) – TSN has Canadian football fans covered this weekend with a CIS football playoff doubleheader as two trips to the XLV DESJARDINS VANIER CUP hang in the balance.  TSN’s coverage on Saturday, Nov. 21 begins with the MITCHELL BOWL featuring Laval @ Queen’s at 1 p.m. ET followed by the UTECK BOWL featuring Calgary @ Saint Mary’s 4 p.m. ET.  Both games are also available on-demand at TSN.ca following the conclusion of the broadcasts.

Toronto Rock Games Broadcast on TSN2 in 2010

– Rock season opener in Boston on Jan. 9 kicks off first of nine televised games on TSN2–

Toronto, ON (November 17, 20009) The Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club and TSN2 have announced that nine regular season National Lacrosse League Rock games will be broadcast throughout the 2010 season.

“I’m very excited that our fans, nationwide, will get the chance to see the Rock back on television, both at home and on the road,” said Jamie Dawick, president and owner of the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club. “I’m thrilled that the Rock can continue to promote the sport of lacrosse with a great network like TSN2.” Read more…

TSN’s Curling Season Begins Thursday with Live Coverage of Canadian Olympic Curling Pre-Trials

– TSN’s 2009-10 curling broadcast schedule begins Thursday with the ROAD TO THE ROAR – 

Toronto, ON (November 11, 2009) – Hurry hard!  TSN launches its 2009-10 curling broadcast schedule with live coverage of the ROAD TO THE ROAR from Prince George, BC, beginning Thursday, Nov. 12 at 3:30 p.m. ET.  In total, TSN will broadcast more than 300 hours of live curling coverage throughout the 2009-10 season including exclusive Canadian coverage of all Season of Champions events as well as the Canadian Olympic curling trials and the men’s and women’s curling events at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
