Toronto, ON (June 23, 2010) – TSN gets CFL fans pumped for the start of the regular season with two brand-new original productions premiering on Tuesday, June 29, leading up to kickoff on Canada Day.

CFL TOP 10 PLAYS OF 2009 showcases some of the league’s most dynamic players as host Matt Dunigan relives the 10 most jaw-dropping plays from last season on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET on TSN (encore on June 30 at 9 p.m. ET on TSN2). The 30-minute show includes interviews and insight from players that experienced these highlight-reel moves first hand on the field. It also features Montreal Alouettes slotback Ben Cahoon, Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant and Winnipeg Blue Bombers cornerback Jovon Johnson battling it out for top play of the year honours.

CFL fans can then look back at the Montreal Alouettes’ 2009 season in the TSN-produced documentary CFL JOURNEY TO THE 2009 GREY CUP at 7:30 p.m. ET on TSN (encore on June 30 at 9:30 p.m. ET on TSN2). Seen through the eyes of Alouettes veterans Anthony Calvillo, Ben Cahoon, Anwar Stewart and recently-retired Bryan Chiu, the 30-minute documentary chronicles Montreal’s journey from its loss at the 2008 Grey Cup to its dramatic Grey Cup win last year. CFL JOURNEY TO THE 2009 GREY CUP also features exclusive access inside the Alouettes’ locker room at the Eastern Final and Grey Cup, and in-game commentary from players wearing microphones on the field.

**Media Note: Screeners for CFL JOURNEY TO THE 2009 GREY CUP are available upon request. **

The CFL ON TSN also takes fans behind-the-scenes all season long with special features during its game broadcasts. On Friday, July 2, during WENDY’S FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL featuring Hamilton @ Winnipeg, Brian Williams visits Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach Marcel Bellefeuille in Ottawa, where Bellefeuille takes Williams on a tour of his hometown. Bellefeuille, who dreamt of playing in the CFL, speaks candidly about growing up in a tough, working-class neighbourhood in the capital city. He also recalls the crucial roles that his parents and difficult childhood experiences played in his journey to the CFL.

Also on July 2, CFL ON TSN analyst and former Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Matt Dunigan goes one-on-one with new Winnipeg pivot Buck Pierce, who signed with the Bombers after being let go by the B.C. Lions following his injury-plagued 2009 season. Dunigan travels to Pierce’s small hometown of Crescent City, CA, where the embattled CFL quarterback returned to hit the reset button on his pro-football career. Pierce shows Dunigan the sights in Crescent City, including the rocky beaches, spectacular redwood forests and high school gym where he trains with local high school athletes.

TSN’s complete 77-game CFL package gets underway with RONA CANADA DAY KICKOFF on July 1 featuring an opening night doubleheader with Montreal @ Saskatchewan at 7 p.m. ET, immediately followed by Toronto @ Calgary at 10 p.m. ET. Once again, TSN is televising every single CFL game this season, including the playoffs and the 98th GREY CUP from Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.
