SPORTSCENTRE to Broadcast Live from Vancouver Throughout 2010 Winter Games

– SportsCentre to broadcast live from studio inside the International Broadcast Centre – 

As the country gets ready for the 2010 Winter Games, Canada’s leading sports newscast will be live on location in Vancouver bringing sports fans all of the latest Olympic Games news.  SportsCentre will broadcast live from its set inside Vancouver’s International Broadcast Centre (IBC) throughout the Games. 

SportsCentre will have all angles covered for the 2010 Winter Games. Popular TSN anchors Dan O’Toole and Cory Woron will helm SportsCentre’s coverage live from the TSN set inside Vancouver’s IBC.  Today through to Thursday, Feb. 11, O’Toole and Woron will alternate hosting duties for the live edition of SPORTSCENTRE at 6:30 p.m. ET.  Beginning February 12, the duo will host live one-hour editions of SportsCentre everyday at 2 a.m. ET throughout the 2010 Winter Games as well as a special one-hour edition at 6 p.m. ET on Friday, Feb. 12 prior to coverage of the Opening Ceremony.  TSN reporters Brent Wallace and Jermain Franklin will be filing daily reports from Vancouver and Whistler. 

As part of tonight’s SPORTSCENTRE broadcast at 6:30 p.m. ET, the results of a national Angus Reid poll on Canadians’ hopes and thoughts about the upcoming Games will be revealed. 

In addition to all of the Olympic highlights and news, SPORTSCENTRE will continue to give Canadians a full recap of all of the biggest stories and events occurring around the sporting world.
