Wayne Middaugh Joins Team Ferbey for CASINO RAMA CURLING SKINS GAME PRESENTED BY POKERSTARS.NET
– Former World champion replaces injured fourth, David Nedohin, for two-day event –
– Ferbey faces Glenn Howard in Semifinal #1 airing live on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET on TSN –
Randy Ferbey announced today that former World championship-winning skip Wayne Middaugh will join his team for this weekend’s CASINO RAMA CURLING SKINS GAME PRESENTED BY POKERSTARS.NET. Ferbey made the announcement tonight during an appearance on OFF THE RECORD WITH MICHAEL LANDSBERG. Middaugh will replace the injured David Nedohin as fourth and will make his debut with Team Ferbey on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET on TSN when they take on Glenn Howard in the first of two Semifinal games.
Middaugh, a former World and Brier champion, is no stranger to the skins format having won a total of seven TSN Skins Games including four of the last 12 events as a skip. With a total of $365,750, Middaugh’s teams have won more money than any other team in TSN Skins Game history.
“I think the CASINO RAMA CURLING SKINS GAME is the greatest event I’ve ever played in and I’m ecstatic to be a part of it again this year,” said Middaugh. “This is the 15th time I’ve participated in a TSN Skins Game and I think it is the best event in curling, although I feel like a bit of an understudy this time as I’ve got some awfully big shoes to fill playing for Dave Nedohin.”
