- Spanish-language ESPN Deportes Radio is heard on 42 stations, reaching 62% of the U.S. Hispanic audience. It features 300 live events in 2012, largely MLB and soccer, including MLS, UEFA, La Liga, Mexican and Olympic qualifiers.
ESPN International
- Formed in 1998, ESPN International spans over 200 countries and territories on all seven continents and includes TV (46 networks in 16 languages, 350 million subscribers), wireless, interactive, print, radio, broadband, event management and consumer products.
- In addition to marquee U.S. (NFL, MLB, NBA, NASCAR, IRL, all of golf’s and tennis’ Grand Slam events) and major international (UEFA Champions League and other top soccer, cricket and more) sports, there are 13 local versions of SportsCenter in eight languages — Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, Hindi, Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese. The latest debuted March 2010 and covers U.S. sports for ESPN in the UK and is produced at ESPN headquarters.

- ESPN.com led the sports category in 2011 in average minute audience (77,000 users, up 10% vs. 2010) and with 3.3 billion total minutes per month. It captured 32 percent of all minutes spent with sports sites and averaged 41.8 million visitors per month (up 8%, comScore). Its video offering continue to lead the category. Fans watched nearly 1.9 billion videos in 2011 (Adobe/Omniture), 39 percent of all sports-related video streams, up 41 percent (Adobe/Omniture) and 253 percent more than the streams of its closest competitor (Nielsen VideoCensus).
- The five ESPN Local sites are also among the top local sports destinations for fans in each respective market. At its two-year anniversary in April 2011, the sites on average collectively reached 8.7 million unique visitors and generated 77.2 million minutes per month (comScore unified measurement, Sep 2010-Mar 2011).
- 2011 saw the launch of Grantland.com, the new home for Bill Simmons featuring sports and pop culture content. In six months, it has attracted a loyal audience of nearly 2.3 million visitors who generate 27 million minutes per month.
Multi-Screen Network – ESPN3

- ESPN3 is ESPN’s live 24/7 multi-screen sports network with thousands of global sports events annually and accessible online via WatchESPN.com to at no cost to approximately 70 million homes with a high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated provider. It is also available at no cost to 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks. It is accessed on smartphones/tablets via the WatchESPN app and on ESPN on Xbox LIVE with an affiliated provider.

- In 2010, ESPN’s industry-leading sites – including ESPN.com, ESPN Deportes, ESPNsoccernet and ESPNcricinfo – attracted nearly 70 percent of users seeking sports on the mobile Web, averaging 11.5 million unique visitors, up 37 percent. ESPN delivered nearly 2.5 billion alerts to fans, up 250 percent; sign-ups for alerts rose more than six-fold (546 percent). ESPN Mobile TV aired 950 live events. ESPN’s apps average 4.5 million unique visitors per month.
- In 2011, ESPN introduced the first-ever live, streaming networks available to tablets and smart phones. WatchESPN allows subscribers who receive ESPN through an affiliated provider mobile and online access to more than 4,000 live events on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3, ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Buzzer Beater.
Publishing
ESPN the Magazine hit a new high with a record of nearly 16 million readers per issue in Fall 2011, and was the top magazine among men 18-34 for the fourth consecutive year. Rate base stands at 2.2 million.
