As the regular season games draw to a close, Major League Baseball fans are gearing up for annual Playoffs, precursor to the highlight of the year, the World Series, which starts at the end of October. ESPN’s LIVE coverage of the MLB Playoffs starts on 8 October with the first of 10 games in the MLB Division Series.
A week later fans can watch the National League Championship best-of-7 Series in which the defending champions, the Philadelphia Phillies, will be looking to retain their position in the face of fierce opposition from the Los Angeles Dodgers who have had a great season.
