NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND LIVE ONLY ON ESPN

Basketball fans will not want to miss one of the highlights of the NBA season, the NBA All-Star Weekend, from 19 to 21 February. ESPN will televise the weekend LIVE.

This year’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, featuring celebrities from all sectors of the entertainment industry, will include teenage singing sensation Justin Bieber, rapper Common and NBA Hall of Famer ‘Magic’ Johnson.

The NBA All-Star Rookie Challenge features the best of the first-year players taking on a team of star second-years.  Last year the Rookies won 140-128.

Coverage of the NBA All-Star Saturday will include the Three-Point Shootout and the Slam Dunk contest. Last year Nate Robinson became the first player to win the Slam Dunk contest three times. This year’s contest will feature four new competitors – Blake Griffin of the Clippers, JaVale McGee of the Wizards, Serge Ibaka of the Thunder and the Toronto Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan.

This year the 60th staging of the NBA All-Star Game will give fans the chance to see the NBA’s top 24 players competing as the Eastern Conference All-Stars defend their title against the challengers from the Western Conference.
